  • A Place in History! Would you like your family, your club or county name to be a part of Oklahoma History? The new Oklahoma History Center is now complete and is complemented by the Red River Journey Park. This park is filled with 23 granite benches surrounded by monogrammed bricks. The bricks are a garnet (deep red) in color. Each brick is monogrammed with three (3) lines, with up to fourteen (14) letters per line. OHCE's participation as an organization is highlighted by the bench engraved with our name. We continue to have the opportunity to surround our bench with up to 409 bricks. This will ensure only OHCE families; group and county names will be in our area. The money raised through this project will be donated to the Research Reading Room for furnishings. The Room will be a combination of the Indian Archives/Manuscript Division, Newspaper and Photo Archives and the Research Library. Order blanks for the monogrammed bricks are available through your Extension Educator 'and your County President. I know each of you have a person, family, club or county you would like to have remembered. This area will be dedicated to OHCE as long as we fill up the 409 spots, otherwise it will be completed with bricks from other groups.

Please send your completed forms and payment to:
